There was no high sales pitch. The car was like new with very low mileage and in excellent condition. They were very professional and did not try to sell us something we did not want. When I need to buy another car I will definitely check them out first. In fact, we did not look at any other cars before we bought this one. Their operation is small, father and part-time son who is an attorney for a prominent firm in Fresno, but they are honest and have good integrity. The owner is the oldest used car dealership in Fresno (29 years) and we can see why he has been so successful. There's no BS in their approach.

For the first time I had an enjoyable time purchasing a new vehicle for our family. Al was great to work with. He sold us an excellent car at an excellent price. I had done my research before buying our vehicle from A&M Auto. No doubt in my mind I got the best vehicle at the best price at the best financing available. I fully endorse Al and A&M auto. My wife and I were in the market for a quality used car. We’ve bought cars from the huge dealers in the past and we were already dreading the stress and pressure of haggling and dealing with different salespersons, supervisors and managers. So we thought we would try a smaller dealer in the area to see what happens. We didn’t want to spend too much money and didn’t want to pay new car prices. We thought it would be impossible to find a good dependable used car that would stay inside our budget. The first place we looked was A & M Auto. We told Al (Owner/Broker) what kind of car we were looking for and what our budget was. That’s all we had to say. Al showed us a few different cars that fit our requirements and didn’t pressure us into spending more. In fact, Al lowered the price of another car down to our budget, and that’s the car we liked the best. We didn’t want to buy a car at the first place we looked at, so we left to check the competition. We spent countless hours comparing six other car dealers in the area. We told all the other salespersons what kind of car we were looking for and what our budget was. Then the stress and pressure for us to spend more began. The truth is that the comparable car we found at A & M Auto was thousands more at the other dealers. Needless to say, we went straight back to A & M Auto. Our advice is to stay away from those dealers that have layers and layers of receptionists, salespersons, supervisors, managers, executives, cost-wasting overhead, etc… All those layers of employees end up increasing the price of your car. The staff at A & M Auto was very courteous, friendly & respectful. There were no high pressure sales people and I was allowed to focus specifically on the car I had come to see. Once I made up my mind, the sales staff did everything they could to get me the financing I needed and the deal was done in just a few hours. All in all, it was one of the most pleasant car buying experiences I have ever had.

I can't say enough good things about the car buying experience. I work A LOT and have crazy hours, I emailed the guys here at A&M Auto about a car I was interested in and I got an email the next day about setting up an appointment to see it. Well the appointment came and went and I didn't have time to go. Flash forward 3 weeks later and my husband and I decide to stop by just in case the car was still there, it was however it was being test driven at the time. We spoke to Roger about what type of car we were looking for and surprisingly he pointed us in the direction of another car that I LOVE! Initially we were going to get a Jeep but when we saw the Hyundai and the room/ features it offered we were sold. I would have never even thought about getting a Hyundai over a jeep until I spoke with Roger. He really understood what we were looking for and made the whole process so easy. He even got me a better financing rate than USAA and that is saying a lot! I have had my car two months now and I could not be happier, she runs amazing, is great on gas, has awesome features and she's all mine thanks to the guys at A&M. Wonderful service really, when it is time for my husband to buy a car we are definitely coming back!
